The Registered Forklift Instructor will be responsible for providing top-notch forklift training, adhering to the Approved Code of Practice for Training Operators and Instructors of Powered Industrial Lift Trucks. Reporting to the Directors, the instructor will play a crucial role in promoting a safe work environment through effective training. Training will be given to the right person but you must have experienced operating forklifts. Responsibilites will include: * Demonstrate excellence in teaching, the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed
* Provide instructional training in policy, procedures, and all regulatory compliance as it relates to forklifts and operators, including compliance with any local regulations and laws
* Assume duties of a Sales Representative, as well as Cold Calls on potential customers if no scheduled training * Attend evening staff meeting followed by dinner once every 4-6 weeks This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: * Full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 Drivers License with a clean record is a must
* Strong knowledge of forklift driving, forklift training certification is a bonus. * Strong work ethic
* Confident speaking to small crowds
* Reliable and available for courses
* "People person" with an easy-going personality
